Unleash the full power and sound potential from your Honda Type-R with aFe’s Takeda cat-back exhaust system. 3″ mandrel bent, brush finished 304 stainless steel tubing merged into a 3-way tuned collector and dual, free-flowing mufflers allows your Type-R to breath and deliver gains of up to +19 HP/ +20 lb.-ft. of torque! 100% hand TIG-welded, this uniquely designed system incorporates a center “open-pipe” to improve performance across the power band while maintaining a smooth, deep tone. Dual 4-1/2″ and single 3-1/2″ carbon fiber tips (“Tri-Tip”) provides a track-ready, competitive look.

Performance Gains: In house testing produced a max gain of +19 horsepower and +20 lb.-ft. of torque.

Brush Finished 304 Stainless Steel Construction: 3″ mandrel bent, brush finished 304 stainless steel tubing merged into a 3-way tuned collector for maximum performance, corrosion resistance, durability and overall breath-taking appearance.

Mitered Merge Collector: A mitered collector separates exhaust gases into three individual tubes. This decreases turbulence and increase exhaust velocity resulting in increased horsepower, torque and improved throttle response.

Smooth, Deep, Aggressive Sound: Uniquely designed, dual free-flowing 304 stainless steel mufflers and a center “open-pipe” to unleash horsepower and torque gains across the power band while producing a powerful, smooth, deep tone.

Tri-Carbon Fiber Tips: This system features two 4-1/2″ and one 3-1/2″ double-wall carbon fiber exhaust tips. The “Tri-Tip” completes the form and function of this Takeda exhaust system for a stylish and competitive look.
