Garrett G30-825 Turbocharger

Garrett G30-825 Turbocharger
Garrett’s Gen II G30-825 is the ultimate 600-700 HP turbo for those who demand power, response, and efficiency. A sweet spot in the G-Series lineup, this ball-bearing turbo provides state-of-the-art aerodynamics in a compact, high-flowing design. If you’re considering the G35 for sheer size, take a closer look at the G30-825—it delivers incredible performance with faster spool and better transient response.
Featuring a 71mm exducer billet compressor wheel, this turbo outflows its GTX3071R Gen II predecessor while maintaining lower backpressure for optimized efficiency. With a max turbo speed of 140,000 RPM and temperature resistance up to 1050°C (1922°F), it’s built to handle extreme conditions. The ported shroud compressor housing improves surge resistance, while the fully machined Speed Sensor Port allows for precise data monitoring. Available in standard and reverse rotation, it’s perfect for twin-turbo setups or space-constrained single applications.

EXTERNAL WASTEGATE (EWG) AND INTERNAL WASTEGATE (IWG) CONFIGURATIONS AVAILABLE IN BOTH STANDARD AND REVERSE ROTATION
Available in standard rotation and reverse rotation options for applications with installation restrictions. The max turbo speed is 185krpm and the max temp is 1050C/1922F.The G30 compressor housings use a traditional 3″ inlet and 2″ hose outlet with a fully machined speed sensor port. The Improved ported shroud inlet design offers maximum surge resistance with huge flow rates in a compact outline. It’s sold as a complete assembly with supercore and turbine housing.

UNDERSTANDING THE NAME
A new name designates a new generation of industry-leading technology and innovation. In G30-825 “G” designates 81 years of Garrett® Turbo heritage. “30″ classifies the frame size. The remaining 3 digits identify the “max horsepower” rating at the flywheel of the turbocharger (ie 825).

DUAL BALL BEARING CHRA – STANDARD AND REVERSE ROTATION
Available in standard rotation and reverse rotation options for enthusiasts that want the perfect twin turbo installation or a single reverse rotation turbo for applications with installation restrictions. All G-series turbos utilize a V-band turbine housing to CHRA connection. This improves the ease of installation, clocking, and servicing of the turbo.
Each turbocharger includes 1 -4AN oil restrictor fitting with a 1mm restriction orifice to provide the turbo with the recommended 40psi of oil pressure. 4 large water jacket ports increase cooling capacity and allow enthusiasts to customize water line routing to help improve the installation process. The turbocharger comes with 2 -6AN water fittings and two plugs. *Recommended to install waterlines on opposite sides of the housing.*

CERAMIC COATING
Looking for a way to protect your turbo or exhaust manifold and improve its efficiency at the same time? Our in-house ceramic exhaust coating does both! Available in black or silver, these 2000+ degree ceramic coatings look great and provide an extra layer of protection against corrosion. By coating the exterior surfaces of your turbo hot side or manifold you retain the heat and energy in the exhaust, not in your engine bay. Improving under-hood temps and increasing efficiency with improved turbo spool are great reasons to add these coatings. Please note that ceramic coating is completed in-house and will add an additional lead time of 1-2 weeks to your order.
SAFER AND MORE ACCURATE BOOST CONTROL
Looking for the ultimate boost control solution for your high-performance turbocharged vehicle? Look no further than the Full-Race’s Garrett G25 Electronic Wastegate Conversion Kit and the Electronic Internal Wastegate Controller by DCCDPro.
The Full-Race Garrett G25 Electronic Internal Wastegate Conversion (eIWG) kit replaces traditional boost activated wastegate canisters with a powerful and reliable OEM electronic actuator (stepper motor).Electronic actuators allow for precise control of the turbocharger wastegate in all conditions – opening the gate when you want it open, and closing the gate when you want it closed.
The Full-Race eIWG actuator does not rely on boost pressure to operate properly. The actuator is fully controlled electronically. This type of control is much safer than older methods where a popped off wastegate boost reference line could lead to a blown engine. In addition to being safer, the level of control is much better. The actuator supports positions from 5-95% so that boost can be dialed in perfectly. It also removes the need to worry about changing springs, solenoids, hoses and fittings.
The Full-Race EWG-PRO Programmable Wastegate Controller can be paired with the eIWG Boost Control Conversion Kits for the ultimate in user-programmable control. If your ECU does not have an available H-Bridge output the EWG-PRO is fully capable as a standalone controller, or in conjunection with a standard PWM output from your ECU.
